What are YOUR memories of Masters of the Universe, whether it be from the comics, toys, or cartoon series?

My memories of MOTU start when I was in hospital recovering from an operation. To cheer me up my Mum bought me a random toy from something I had never heard of before. That toy was Mer-Man. To this day I can still recall the smell of the plastic when I opened the toy & wondering why the head was so squishy compared to the body.
Although I don't really consider myself a huge fan of the franchise these days, as a child I was crazy for the toyline. I had several figures & vehicles (Spydor & the Battle Ram were my favourites) & it still depresses me thinking about how many of my figures were stolen.
The mini comics that were included with the figures were great little additions to the toy. Even if they clashed with the cartoon. For some reason the issues with Battle Bones & an Obelisk stick in my memory, I loved the drawings of the toys on the back of the comics.
Sadly all that remains of my childhood collection are some Ladybird books (possibly a cassette too) & a toy poster/leaflet.
Sorry if I've rattled on a bit too much but you can probably tell how fond of MOTU I was.
One final point I have to make is Matty Collector come in for a lot of abuse from fans but the fact they made a Mo-Larr figure based on the Robot Chicken sketch gets them a little bit of love from me

Watching FILMATION episodes after school. The glow in the dark skull rings that came with Trap-Jaw & Tri-Klops. Getting Stinkor (my favorite figure) from a friend at a birthday party & loving his smell!!! NOT getting BattleCat as a kid. Running around the back yard with a generic plastic sword pretending to battle Beast Man. The Obelisk mini comic. The beautiful oil paintings used as box art & cardback bios. Getting Castle Grayskull on Christmas 1984, but finding (spoiling the surprise) Buzz-Off in Mom's closet prior :-( Extreme disappointment in the 1987 film (except for Langella & MAA) Extreme delight in the 2002 cartoon reboot.
