This week sees the gang finally tackle Star Wars: Droids, the continuation of the Star Wars universe when there wasn't likely to BE any more Star Wars. Remember those days? Remember when there were no prequels, no Clone Wars or Rebels, not even any Timothy Zahn novels! What a bleak universe that was. Ambassador, with all of your Star Wars, you are spoiling us! Episode 268 - Trouble Again can be found HERE, or subscribe on itunes

I loved the show (and Ewoks). I'm amazed that there were so few episodes -- the way I remembered it, each story-arc with a different owner felt like a full season. And I've always liked the theme song, that it wasn't just blatant "we're the Droids, out in space" type lyrics but still described the premise and set the tone while sounding like a proper song. Is there a full or extended version out there...?
When I first saw Attack of the Clones, the whole sequence with Artoo and Threepio in the droid factory struck me as goofy, over-the-top and incredibly endearing as it totally put me in mind of the cartoon!
